Terms & Conditions
These Terms govern your use of The Map, operated by Pocket Pedagogy. By using the tool, you agree to them. Effective September 2026.
1. About the tool
The Map is a coaching tool from Pocket Pedagogy that helps early childhood educators think through behaviour using three pathways: Calm, Move and Organise. It is provided free of charge to participants in Pocket Pedagogy's courses, and is the intellectual property of Pocket Pedagogy.
2. Access
- Access is by password only, as provided by Pocket Pedagogy to course participants.
- There are no accounts and nothing to sign up for.
- Please keep the password within your course group; don't share it publicly.
- You must be an adult using the tool in connection with your work with children.
3. Acceptable use
- Never enter identifying details about children or families — no names, photos or anything that could identify a child. Describe behaviour only.
- Use the tool to support your own professional thinking, not as a final answer.
- Don't attempt to copy, reproduce, resell or reverse-engineer the tool or its content.
- Don't use the tool for any unlawful purpose.
4. Intellectual property
The Map, its content, the Calm / Move / Organise pathway model and all associated materials are the intellectual property of Pocket Pedagogy. You may use the tool for your own professional learning and practice; you may not reproduce or distribute its content commercially without written permission.
5. No warranty
The tool is provided "as is". AI-generated responses may not always be correct, and the content does not adhere to any particular set of regulations or curriculum frameworks. We make no warranty about accuracy, availability or fitness for a particular purpose. See our Disclaimer for full details.
6. Professional judgement
The Map coaches and assists your thinking — it never replaces your professional judgement, your service's policies, or advice from qualified professionals. If a situation involves harm, injury or anything beyond a play need, raise it with your supervisor, educational leader or an appropriate professional.
7. Changes and availability
We may update, pause or withdraw the tool at any time, and may update these Terms with notice on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
